A New Beginning

Mea, you never leave my thoughts,
Yearning to be with you forever.

Always, I want to be by your side,
Not leaving, for anything or anyone,
Granting, hopefully, your every wish,
Each day, only increasing our strength together,
Laughing, loving, and truly living our lives.

My dearest one and only,
Everything that I want, is you.
All my dreams wrapped into one,
Great beauty, a quick wit, and a sharp mind.
Anything seems possible when I look into your eyes,
Nothing will keep me from loving you.

Reveling in our time spent together,
Enjoying the pure comfort of you in my arms,
Never feeling anything but cared for and loved,
Entering into a new beginning, with you.

More than I ever dreamed possible,
And yet, something I unconsciously sought,
You are the one I want to spend my life with.

My first try at an acrostic, and I love the way it turned out =)

A smile, a whisper, it always shows through,
How much that I truly do mean to you.
A sliver of a dream, that I thought once may be,
Glows bright, a vision showing my dreams can come true.

Love’s breath, love’s touch, love’s tender kiss.
Without you, this is something I’d forever miss,
For it is I that has fallen, yes it is true,
Deeply and madly in love with you.

Life’s journey, that took me through good and bad,
Had led me astray, feeling lonely and sad.
But love’s warmth, a feeling that I never knew,
Took over with everything that I feel for you.

For it is you who is always the one on my mind,
And you are the one that I could never leave behind.
For I’ve given my heart completely to you,
And believe that we have a life to pursue.

You are everything I could ever want or need,
I believe in our future, and I know we’ll succeed.
My true love, my Mea, please come with me,
Shed our burdens, build new hopes, and let us be free.

Written for my 9 month anniversary with Mea

It was you who gave me hope,
When the world shut me out.
Or maybe it was me,
Who shut out the world.

From the first time we spoke,
I knew you were special,
Even though it took so long,
To understand what I was feeling.

And nine months later, I still don’t know,
The full depth of these feelings.
Because with each day, my heart does show,
That my love grows stronger and deeper.

You are my adorable angel,
Perhaps sent from the heavens above,
To halt my misdirections,
To show me there’s true love.

It feels like we’ve always been together,
Like you’ve been with me from the start.
As the day I met you, my heart became whole,
And I wish we were never apart.

There’s one place that I want to be,
Which is right there by your side.
To show you how much you mean to me,
To ask you to be my bride.

I’d venture far and wide,
For my heart always calls out to you,
Showing my love from deep inside.

I wont ever leave you, my life,
My love for you only grows.

So I’ve moved again, this time to my own hosted blog running WordPress instead of using Blogger. Maybe this will inspire me to write more? Or perhaps it will be another endeavour which grows old and collects dust, alongside many past projects.

How does one come to miss another,
As much as I miss you?
Love like this I’ve never felt,
And couldn’t be as true.

I’ve been looking for so long,
But I could never see,
The one amazing girl to love,
With whom I’m meant to be.

But that all changed when I found you,
From the day we met.
From then I hoped, and it came true,
That my future’d be set.

A smile, lingers upon my lips,
From joy within my heart.
You’ve always been perfect to me,
Even from the start.

Through the times, both good and bad,
I’ll never leave your side.
I never imagined how strongly,
Two hearts could collide.

I want us to be a couple,
To be husband and wife.
To have a family of our own,
To live away our life.

I feel this captures what I was trying to do with a previous poem, Dreams Come True. Written for the same day (I know, this one is a bit late :p), but for this one I had my love to write it for, and the other was just about what I was looking for.

This is where I want to move to, to post what I write. I initially posted my work at Poems and Quotes, and although I’ll keep my previous work there, here is where I will post anything new. I’m not sure what inspired the move, but here I am =)

To the loved ones who are the driving force behind my recent writings, I hope you know how much you mean to me. You are the reasons why I’m still here, why I’m actually happy, why I’m alive. From the bottom of my heart, I can never thank you enough.

For everyone else, I hope you enjoy what you find here =)

I love you, but to show you,
I truly don’t know how
I always want to be with you
And never let you go.

A brief thought of time spent with you,
Brings a smile to my lips.
Love’s warmth, slowly spreading,
From my heart to finger tips.

You make me feel truly special,
You make me feel wanted.
You make me want to keep living,
You make me feel understood.

You helped me think of the good things in life,
And because of you, I’m still here today.
I trust that you will never hurt me,
I trust you with my life.

I’m confused and don’t know what to do,

Eluded me.

But no matter how hard

Words came out harsh and
Never sleek.

Do hold true,
And those three words were

A shiver runs right down my spine,
For together we can be set free,
